Clerk: Christine Capstran

 

The Clerk's Department is responsible for providing equitable access to open government by promoting the inclusion and full participation of all residents in the democratic process. 

 

This includes:

• Administering Village Board meetings and other board and committee meetings
• Processing licenses and permits 
• Protecting local democracy
• Managing elections
• Upholding public trust
• Fulfilling Open Records Requests 

 

The Clerk also preserves village records, provides information and performs other duties as prescribed by state law and local ordinance.
