2025 Dog License Application Available December 1, 2024
⇒ Online (Renewal): If you completed a dog license application online for 2024, then you should receive an email to renew for 2025. Renewal emails are sent December 1st. If after December 1st you do not see this email, you can email the Village at customerservice@windsorwi.gov for a link to renew online.
⇒ Online (New): If you are submitting a dog license application for the first time online, use the following link: New Dog License Application
Online Submission Notes: After submitting application, staff will review to confirm all required information was submitted. After staff review, an email will then be sent to applicant regarding payment information. After payment received, the dog license and tag will be mailed within 15 business days. If you have more than 1 dog, a dog license application will need to be completed for each dog.
Mail or drop box (Village of Windsor 4084 Mueller Rd., DeForest, WI 53532): Include copy of current rabies vaccination certificate, proof of spay neuter (if applicable) and check payable to the Village of Windsor (or cash if via drop box).
Mail or drop box notes: Dog license and dog tag will be mailed back to you after staff enter into dog license software.
Note: If you come to the Windsor Municipal Building, in-person, to license your dog, staff will make a copy of the rabies vaccination certificate, have you fill out a short application and pay. The dog tag and license will then be mailed to you within 15 days (approximately).
