Parks Committee

Under the direction of the Village Board, the Parks Committee administers the Windsor parks and recreation system. The Committee annually submits a proposed budget for its activities for the subsequent year for consideration by the Village Board. The Committee makes recommendations to the Village Board on matters pertaining to parks and recreation and performs such other duties as requested by the Village Board.
 
The Village of Windsor Parks Committee consists of seven members appointed by the Village President, subject to confirmation by the Village Board, and serve three year staggered terms. The Parks Committee consists of five or six resident members and one or two Village Trustees.
