Roadwork Projects

Village street projects are determined based on street review and condition rating.

 

 

 Work anticipated the week of 11/9/25: Road Closure Map

Work Completed This Week:

  • The utility crew completed a utility adjustment at Windsor Commons Avenue.
  • The road crew continued preparing the roadway for paving.

 

Work Anticipated Next Week:

  • The contractor will continue to prepare the remaining roadway for asphalt. Affected traffic access routes will be updated on the changeable message boards. 
  • The paving crew is scheduled towards the middle of the week to complete the remaining asphalt, weather permitting.

 

Dane County Schedule

  • This Week: The County utility crew #1 completed reconstructing the culvert crossing just north of Innovation Drive.
  • Next Week: County utility crew #1 will start the culvert crossing between 4th Street and Diamond Drive.
  • The County work will involve road closures throughout the week.

2025 Roadwork Projects: 2025 projects are still being determined. As projects are approved, they will be posted below:

  1. Windsor Road - Charlie Grimm to CTH CV (Reconstruction) – begins July 28th

  2. Depot Street - Windsor Road to 2nd Street, install angle parking on east side 
  3. CTH CV - water main replacement, sewer main replacement, guard rails, retaining walls, stormwater (2025) and road work, STH 19 to Vinburn Rd (2026) 
  4. Pulverize & Overlay
    1. Brandywood Court
    2. Brandywood Trail
    3. Cranberry Court
    4. Heatherstone Court
    5. Heatherstone Ridge
    6. Hamre Road
    7. Lake Circle
    8. Manthe Road - Work begins 7/21 - expect road closure during that week.
    9. North Meixner Road - Started 7/15 with pulverizing and then the road widening will follow.
    10. Winding Way
    11. Winding Way Court 
  5. Morrison St. and Maple St. – final lift of asphalt & landscaping touch up.
  6. Crack Sealing & Chip Seal Project - Starting May 6, 2025
    1. Bear Tree Farms (Phase l)
    2. Windsor Gardens (Phase l)
    3. Forest Park Drive (STH 19 just north of Long Fellow Court)
    4. Revere Pass (Forest Park Drive to Forest Park Drive)
    5. Son of Liberty Drive (Forest Park Drive to West Dead End)
    6. Great Bridge Drive (Forest Park Drive to the West)
    7. Longfellow Court (Forest Park Drive to Cul-De-Sac)
  • Traffic Signal at Windsor Road and CTH CV/Lake Road Intersection
    • Approved by the Village Board by Resolution 2024-98. Project is anticipated to start end of March-August. It will occur in phases with underground work occurring first in Spring, roadwork in Summer and aboveground work occurring in the Fall.
